I was always a gamer type person. I play on Xbox live and the play the game Call of Duty. But I wasn’t always a fan of Call of Duty. One day I went to my friends house and he was playing. After that I was hooked.Thats one day ill never forget. The day I first played Call of Duty.Thats what im going to talk about.
I remeber waking up that day and I was supposed to go with my mom to go food shopping. My sister ended up going so I called my friend and went to his house. When I got there I heard the sound effects of gun shots and gernades blowing up like I was in an actual war. As I walked in his room the first thing I said was what games is that. He told me that it was the new Call of Duty (Modern warfare 2). He was playing other people on Xbox live and I had to get in the game with him.
The first game I played I got recked. I got 3 kills and about 23 deaths.I was mad and had to keep playing. As I was playing I was amazed with the graphics. The soldiers face looked real, and if you pay attion to the back round you can see the grass and trees moving with the wind. There was just so much detail.
There are so many diffrent ways of playing. We stared playing team death match at 1st. Which is a group of people divided into 2 teams thats go aginst each other. The team with the most kills at the end wins. After awhile it got boring then we switched it up to Capture the flag. I like that mode because I stay at the base and kill who ever tried to come take the flag. Then we played free for all. Which is every man for himself.
The game mode (free for all) is my favorite mode. The reason for this is because while I was playing that mode I was getting alot of kills. I ran to all the spots on the map that had good hiding places. Then every time I saw someone I would kill them and run to another hiding place. That way when the other players would respond and try to get me back they couldnt find me because I was some where else. I thought it was funny. The game went up to 30 and I thought I was going to win because I had 26 kills. Next thing I know the game ends when I had 28 kills. I was mad because I came so close to winning, but atleast I came in second place.
While we were playing my friends mom had made us something to eat. I was so addicted I was eating end playing at the same time. Which was hard because everytime I went to take a bite I got killed. I was mad but it was funny at the same time. The reason I wanted to do good everygame is beacuse at the end of every game you get experince points. You need the points to level up. When you level up you unlock things such as new guns, diffrent type of gernades and smoke bombs, and also new perks. Perks help to do extra things. Some perks make it so no one can see you on the map, another is you can pick up other people bullets and gernades, and my favorite is if your hit by a gernade it doent kill you.
My most favorite part of the game is Zombies. My friend said he was getting board and wanted to play zombie mode. He told me about it and I wanted to try. Its up to four player in a game. How you play is you start on level 1 and your in a room with windows and the zombies come in and you got kill them. Everytime you get to the next level theres more and more zombies that come. When you kill them you get money. The money is used to buy weapons off the wall and open doors to run away when theres to many of them. We were playing that and got to level 31. That one game lasted an hour and a half. Then I had to go home and told my mom about it. She gave me the money for it when she got her check and I been playing Call of Duty ever since.
